5 Cadets get Bronze DofE certificates and squadron gets another Gold

Well done to the 5 cadets who got their Bronze DofE certificates through Squadron in January, Cdt G, H, M, S, and F. Also, FS M who achieved her Gold DofE badge. That makes 5 cadets achieving their Gold Awards through the Squadron in the last 12 months before their Year 13 exams.

The Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme remains one of the 4 pillars of 1368's focus along with Community Duties, Drill/Uniform, and Sports. With cadets spending a lot of their spare time doing activities with the air cadets, they can use many of them for skills, volunteering and physical sections. For example, an NCO can use Coaching, Teaching and Leadership > Air Training Corps for Volunteering, or as Classification teaching often goes over 6 months they can use Learning and Collecting > Aeronautics or Ceremonial Drill as a Skills section.
