National Aerospace Camp

On Wednesday 25th August, four of our cadets attended the annual National Aerospace Camp held at RAF Syerston. The camp focuses on all things aerospace - from gliding, to lectures about space, as well as STEM subjects (Science Technology Engineering and Maths) such as building robots, and numerous simulators covering not only flying but also air traffic control. The camp offers many opportunities to cadets, including talks with the RAF recruitment teams, giving an insight into the many varied careers available; plus there was a private air display featuring the Red Arrows, among some of the highlights.
