Annies in Action!

On Wednesday last week, our cadets engaged in some essential first aid training held at the squadron. First Aid is one of the most important activities that we do, as it helps cadets to build confidence in emergency scenarios and treat casualties - skills that can save lives in both a civilian and military environment.

To help teach the CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) element of the course, we utilised our new ResusciAnnie dolls that we're kindly provided to us by the Warwick Lions. These new inflatable dolls give a realistic and practical approach to instructing first aid and allow the cadets to practice their skills, as well as learning the theory behind them.
