More Duke of Edinburgh Award certificates arrive, Dec 10

Well done to Cdt R, Cpl M and (now) Sgt M on getting their Bronze and Silver Duke of Edinburgh Awards approved and verified on Dec 10, to add to our 2022 haul.

The Air Training Corps is the largest operator of the The Duke of Edinburgh's Award. The Duke of Edinburgh's Award Scheme is a voluntary, non-competitive programme of practical, cultural and adventurous activities for young people aged 14-25. At Bronze and Silver level their are 4 sections, Physical, Skills, Volunteering and Expedition and they need to complete all 4 to get the Award. Cadets can start Bronze in the school year in which they turn 14 years old which is usually when they start Year 9.
